Herewith the promised new blue painted on the pillars inside Cape Town Station. This is the PRASA blue.
I don't think there is a more vile looking blue anywhere on this planet, you be the judge:

I think consistency is the most important, not the colour. If they are consistent and develop the colour as a brand throughout the stations then its a goood thing.
ReplyDeleteThe platform could do with new paving and the lighting could be much better.
Its always the details/small things.
Mo,
ReplyDeleteI hear you and I'm all for brand, but taking this colour through as a theme is on the same level a woman of ill repute would match her handbag, shoes and liptstick.
The first white and grey they had on there would have done it nicely.
i must say that even the new blue is an improvement over what was there. The ceilings are also painted a nice clean crisp white and they have replaced all the light fittings.
I love the progress, but not so much the blue ;-)
I agree with Mo on Paving and Lighting but the grey and white colour will suite this station better.
ReplyDeletewhatever would be the plan, I'm excited to see modified cape town station.

When I was there, the color is different. Now they change it again. But i like this one. Blue is good.
